Graveside Services for Mr. James Woodall Rodgers II, age 78 of Birmingham, was Friday, August 14, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Clay County Memory Gardens.
Mr. Rodgers passed away on Monday, August 9, 2020 at Brookdale Senior Living in Birmingham.
Born in Clay County, Mr. Rodgers attended Jacksonville State University and upon receiving his Bachelor’s degree, worked in the Computer programming department for the Protective Life Insurance Company. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserve and was in the National Guard.
Mr. Rodgers is survived by one son: Hunter Rodgers (Lauren Elizabeth Cox) of San Francisco, CA; two sisters: Mary Latham (Bob) of Hoover and Becky Caldwell of Ashland; plus extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents: James Woodall Rodgers I and Ruby Doris Sisson Rodgers.
Family and Friends served as pallbearers.
