Mr. Kenneth Wayne Keaton age 77 of McMinnville, TN, died Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at his home. He was born January 16, 1943, in McMinnville, was a retired lineman with McMinnville Electric System and of the Christian faith. Kenneth was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends, enjoyed a good practical joke, and in his later years was notably known for hosting cook-outs at Jimmy Yates’ Hard Time USA. Mr. Keaton was preceded in death by his parents Walter Guy Keaton and Itera Gribble Keaton Wilson, wife Wanda Roberts Keaton, brother Averal Keaton, and step-father Osborne Wilson.
Kenneth is survived by children Tina (Phil) Mullican, Teresa (Dewayne) Mason, and Greg Keaton, brother Marlin Keaton, grandchildren Shawn Mullican (Sarah Wood), Shay (Heather) Mullican, Candace Keaton, Tyler (Shelby) Keaton, Josh Powers, Katie (Cole) Mullins, Coby (Marissa) Mason, and Brooklyn Mason, great-grandchildren Fin and Juniper Mullican, Presley Bonner, Nevaeh, Nash and Jett Pryor, Carter and Brody Keaton, and Lucas Mullins, other family members, many friends, and special caregivers Tammie Gutierrez and Brooke Haley.
Funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 13, 2020 at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Paul Roberts will officiate. Interment will follow at Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday and again from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Thursday at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home. Social distancing is being requested along with the wearing of masks and no food at the funeral home.
