Johnie Lee Scott, age 85, of Falkville, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Cullman Regional. He was born December 16, 1934, to the late John Oliver and Lillian Maybell Scott.
Johnie Lee Scott was a long-time member of the Masonic Lodge, played baseball at Goldridge for years, was known for his kindness, gentleness, and laughter. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Due to COVID-19 and health safety issues, graveside funeral services for Johnie Lee Scott will be privately announced to limit attendance. We ask that all who are contacted respect the issue of limiting attendance and not extend the information to others. All persons attending must wear a mask and observe social distancing.

Survivors include his wife, Wynette Scott; daughters, Deborah (Jim) Phillips and Rhonda Scott (Fred) Bamberger; grandchildren, Marianna Phillips, Kevin (Angelia) Posey, and John (Crystal) Posey; sister, Faye Loyd; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank everyone for all the love, prayers, and support that have been expressed to us and the memories and respect relayed for our father. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dementia Society of America would be appreciated.
