Mr. Radford Lee Hornbuckle, 77, of Morgan City, Alabama passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020 at his home. Mr. Hornbuckle was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Hornbuckle was born May 25, 1943 in Morgan County to Homer Paul Hornbuckle, Sr. and Alice Pauline Dunaway Hornbuckle.
He graduated from Union Hill High School in Somerville, Alabama in 1961. In 1965, he attended Tennessee Valley Technical School in Huntsville, Alabama and received the Certificate for Technical Drafting.
He worked as an electrical design draftsman for Chrysler Electronics and retired in 2002. He was also owner of Hornbuckle Equipment Co., Inc. for 28 years.
He was a lifetime resident of Morgan City, Alabama and enjoyed spending time outside working in his garage, spending time with family and friends, attending the Morgan City ROMEO Club every Wednesday, reading all weekly newspapers, watching westerns and Alabama Foot ball on television and going to Alabama Football games.
He is survived by his wife Nikkia Hornbuckle of 34 years; 2 daughters and son-in-law, Tina L. Farrell, Leigh Ann (L.A.) and Scott Trew; son, Andrew Paul Hornbuckle;
5 grandchildren, Stephanie L.Jackson (Chris), Milas Lorne Trew, Kaulon Ray Trew, Marlon Scott Trew, and Finleigh Joanne Trew; a sister, Katherine L. White; and many other family and friends.
In addition to his loving parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Homer Paul Hornbuckle, Jr. and Kenneth Boyd Hornbuckle; and a sister, Martha Ann Brown.
Visitation will be at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel Funeral Home in Morgan City, Alabama on Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Funeral services will be at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel Funeral Home in Morgan City, Alabama on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 2 p.m. with his burial to follow at the Mt. Olive Church Cemetery in Morgan City, Alabama.
Pallbearers will include: George Helms, Andrew Hornbuckle, J. C. Hornbuckle, Chris Jackson, Scott Trew, Carl White, Jr.and Bobby Farrell.
Brian Jimenez will be officiating and the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel will be directing the funeral service.
