Ruth H. Boyer, 91, of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at Ridgeview Heath Services. Graveside service will be held Friday, July 31, 2020, at 10 a.m., at Oak Hill Cemetery, with Kilgore-Green Funeral Home directing. Bro. Don Graham will officiate. Ruth was a long time member of Farmstead Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her greatest joy was baking and gifting it to others. She enjoyed gardening and serving on the hospitality committee for many years at church. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. Preceded in death by her husband, Lucien Boyer; parents, Richard and Laura Harkins; siblings, Dale Connell, Sally Chambless, Nannie Lee Hallmark, Villa Killingsworth, Katey Mae Tipper, Anna Laura Peyton, Helen Rockwood, Lillian Musgrove, Jim Harkins and Richard Harkins. She is survived by her children, F.J. Boyer (JoAnn), Charlie Boyer (Dianne) and Nolan Boyer (Tish); grandchildren, Justin Boyer (Kristi); great granddaughter, Hannah Boyer and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
