Ms. Janet Mellisa Farr, age 56, of Empire passed away Friday, June 5, 2020 at her residence. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Veston and Hazel Farr; and sisters, Judy May and Joyce Wade Farr.
Survivors include her son, Jamie Poore and wife Gracie; brother, Jerry Farr and his children; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
