Redden Wallace, Jr. was born January 27, 1939 in Guin, AL to the union of Redden Thomas Wallace, Sr. and Alice Pearl Metcalf Wallace. He was the fourth child of eight. He attended school at Guin Colored School and Fayette County Training School. He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. He was faithful to the Guin Church Of Christ until his health began to fail.

In December 1967, Redden Wallace, Jr. was united in Holy Matrimony to Anna Jean Crump. They were married 52 years. To this union one child was born, Anna Maria Branch.

Redden was a hard worker, he recapped big truck tires. He worked for various employers, Dan Mobley, Lotus Garrison, Benny Parrish and Bobby LeDuke. In later years Redden and Wyvan Norris and Hersel Norris went into business together. He retired due to his health. Redden enjoyed family and friends, talking about old cars and trucks, going to fellowship and sitting on the porch with friends.

On May 29, 2020 he departed this life at DCH Regional Hospital in Tuscaloosa, AL.

He leaves to cherish his memory: His Wife, Anna Jean Wallace, Daughter, Anna M. Branch (Theo), Grandson, Austin J. Dixon, Great-Grandson, Zeke Dixon, Sisters, Mittie Nalls, Lillie Mae Key, Amanda Hackman, Judy Jewel McDaniels, Brothers, George Wallace, and Mackie Wallace, a host of Nieces and Nephews, Special Friends, Foster Smith and Grover Stewart and Sister-In-Law, Sarah Moon.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Alice Pearl Metcalf Wallace, Father, Redden Wallace, Sr., Sister, Mary Alice Hubbert, Brother-In-Laws, Clint Hubbert, Archie Nalls, Junior Key, Sister-In-Law, Ada Wallace, Brothers-In-Law, Bobby Moon, Willie James Crump, Chester Crump, and James McDaniels and Sisters-In-Law, Louise Crump and Jaunita Crump.

Services held Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 1:00 PM from the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win, AL. Brad Frazier officiating.
