Graveside Service for James Edward Holmes, Sr., age 59, of Eva, will be at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2020, at Gum Pond Cemetery with Dan Hopper officiating.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Holmes passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Cullman Regional. He was born December 25, 1960, to Royal Cephus and Mary Lucy Jane Holmes. He was a part of the United Cherokee Ani-Yun-Wiva Nation.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Aubrey Holmes; and two brothers.
Survivors include his sons, Matt (Teresa) Holmes and Ed (Faith) Holmes; daughter, Amber Griffin; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four brothers; and two sisters.
Family visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2020, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
