Peggy Annette Pickle, age 75, of Sulligent, AL passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.  Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 1:30pm in the Sandlin Cemetery.  Bro. Dwayne Hammontree to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

 

Peggy was born on February 12, 1945 in Lamar County, AL to the late George W. Stanford and the late Gladys Vernell Smith.  She was a 1963 graduate of Sulligent High School.  Peggy owned and operated the Nu Look clothing store, Kids Kountry, Coffee Cup Restaurant, Gunkles Restaurant, and Pickle’s Chevron.  She enjoyed antiquing, cooking, gardening, flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren.  Peggy was a member of Sulligent First Freewill Baptist Church.
