Virgie L. Sikes, age 101, of Mississippi, formerly of Albertville, passed away at Sanctuary Hospice.
Her family will have a private graveside service Monday, April 13, 2020 at Marshall Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Lance Wesson, Chad Sikes, Billy Sikes, Dustin Odom and Bobby Murphy.
She is survived by her children, Wayne Sikes, Marie Miller (Fred), and Janet Wesson (Jan), seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William F. Sikes, parents, William and Ethel Murphy, sisters, Grace Johnson and Jewel Murphy, brothers, John W. Murphy, W. J. Murphy, Jr. and Royce H. Murphy and daughter-in-law, Sylvia Sikes.
