Mr. Stephen “Sonny” Travis Speegle, age 58, of Somerville, Alabama passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at the Decatur-Morgan Hospital.
Mr. Speegle was born on April 22, 1961 in Madison County, Alabama to Leroy Melvin Travis Speegle and Lynnoytte Steadham Speegle, and was formerly of the Union Hill Community. Sonny was a successful man; upon graduating high school he furthered his education leading him to become the owner and operator of his company STS Equipment and Service Inc. Sonny had many hobbies he would partake in; fishing and shooting guns, working on cars, picking on his grandchildren and cooking.
Mr. Speegle is survived by his mother, Lynnoytte Steadham Speegle; wife, Lori Alexander Speegle; daughter, Rachel Speegle; grandchildren, Brody Walker and Ella-Faith Speegle.
Stephen is preceded in death by his father, Leroy Melvin Travis Speegle.
A memorial service to honor Mr. Speegle will be announced on a later date.
