A private family graveside service for Mrs. Patricia Dale Carroll, age 80, will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, with Rev. Bill Rice officiating.
Mrs. Carroll passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020 in the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Mrs. Carroll was an almost life-long resident of Humboldt. Her professional career in healthcare as a medical technologist spanned many decades, primarily at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was active with the Business Women’s Club of Humboldt and a member of the Church at Sugar Creek (formerly First Baptist Church of Humboldt).
Mrs. Carroll was well known for her incredible cooking as well as artistic talents and creativity in many areas, including painting, card making, floral arranging, and doll-making. She was also well known for her fondness for dogs and was the loving caretaker of many faithful companions.
Mrs. Carroll was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Roby Corinne (Nippers) Ruehl; and a son, Chris Carroll.
Mrs. Carroll leaves behind a daughter, Connie and husband Don Kinsey of Mebane, NC: a granddaughter Alicia and husband Josh Turner of Mebane, NC and a grandson Adam and wife Nathalie of Gainesville, FL; and three great grandchildren, Madeleine Turner, Caleb Turner and Cole Turner all of Mebane, NC.
