Ms. Debra Ann Martin, age 61, of Joppa, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at her residence.
Ms. Martin was born on June 16, 1958 in Winston County, Alabama to the late Edward Baker and Barbara A. Johnson Baker. Debra enjoyed life to the fullest, working as a waitress in her earlier years. Hobbies included; clipping coupons, eating out; preferably at Captain D’s, playing different games on facebook, watching soap opera like “General Hospital”, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Ms. Martin is survived by her daughters, Amanda Tidmore (Justin), Crystal G. Berry (Donny Green), April Martin Mathews (Robert) and Jennifer Martin; brother, Billy Sanford; sisters, Robin Cornelius (Rodney), Angel Frady, Patricia Hill, Carol Preston and Bonnie Whitley; ten grandchildren.
A visitation to honor Debra’s life will be held on Monday, March 2nd from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at New Life Church.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at New Life Church. Burial to follow at the Gilliam Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Scottie Price, officiating.
