After his retirement from the U.S. Probation Office, Mac continued to maintain his friendships and connections to law enforcement officers by serving as a board member of the Huntsville FOP and as a representative to the National FOP.
With his love for history, Mac continued his passion as a member of the Sons of the American Revolution (SARS) and served in any way that he could be helpful.
To those who really knew Mac, he had a huge heart and was a very giving and generous person.
For that reason, in lieu of flowers and to honor Mac, we would ask that you would consider making a donation to the Huntsville Police Citizens Foundation (Fallen Officers Memorial) or Tunnel2Towers.org (Serving our fallen heroes: firefighters, police and military personnel.)
