Sue B. Crowell, 76, of Huntsville, passed away Friday. Mrs. Crowell graduated from Union Hill High School and attended UAH and A&M. She was an illustrator and graphics designer for several Huntsville area companies. Sue was a longtime member and priest of Light of Christ Center (now center of Light for Applied Metaphysics). She enjoyed drawing, painting and sculpting. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dennis Mabrey; granddaughter, Amanda Headrick; and parents, Larry Floyd Brown and Bessie Annie May Cast Brown.
Survivors include husband, Richard E. Crowell; daughters, Susan Denice Mabrey Brown and Debra Michelle Mabrey; grandchildren, Melissa Whitehead and John Thomas Lemons; and great-grandchildren, Ectrick Johnson, Jr., Elizabeth Hope Hoyes, Hanna Headrick, Emma Headrick and James Headrick.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
