Betty Swafford 79, of Scottsboro passed away Monday February 3rd, 2020.
She is survived by one grandson: Chris Payne of Scottsboro; three great grandsons: Christian Reshaun Payne of Dutton, Timothy Gavin Payne of Hammondville and Blake Guthrie of Valley Head; one great-great granddaughter: Copeland Payne of Dutton; sister in-law: Penny Wright of Scottsboro and several nieces nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Bill Swafford; parents: Ethel Maye and John Steeley; son: Billy Wayne Swafford; daughter: Delores Ann Swafford; granddaughter Shakira Dawn Guthrie; grandson: Tommy Guthrie II; great grandson: Tommy Guthrie III; brother: J.W. Steeley; two sisters: Carolyn Wilson and Shirley Guthrie all of Scottsboro, Alabama.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro, Alabama.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th, 2020 from 5 ~ 8 PM
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 6th, 2020 at 1 PM followed by burial into Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, Alabama.
