Zachary Lawrence Taylor, age 20 of Winchester passed from this life unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. Zachary was born on April 28th, 1999 in Winchester, Tennessee to Willis Taylor, Jr. and Jessica Headrick. Zachary was a 2017 graduate of Franklin County High School where he was a scholar soccer player. Zachary received many district awards and a scholarship for his excellence performance as a soccer player. In addition to playing for Franklin County High School, Zachary played for many travel soccer teams and recreational leagues. Zachary is preceded in death by his grandfather, “Pee Paw” Willis Taylor, Sr. He is survived by his devoted grandmother/mother, Delores Taylor of Winchester; father and step-mother, Willis Taylor, Jr. and Kimberly ‘Niki’ Parks both of Fayetteville; mother, Jessica Headrick of Cape Coral, Florida; step-father, Jason Cunningham of Winchester; brother, Eli Collado of Tampa, Florida; sister, Desiree Nance of Jasper, TN; grandmother, Freida Headrick; two aunts, Ginger Headrick of Murfreesboro and Sonya Simmons of Winchester; three uncles, Jonathan Headrick of Murfreesboro, Brian and Eric Taylor both of Winchester; step-siblings, Ayden Simms, Cole Simms, and Jerome Parks; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 1st, 2020 from 12:00 until 1:00pm at Elk River Tabernacle, 87 Crestview Drive, Winchester, TN 37398. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm with Pastor John Patton, officiating. Interment will follow at Watson-North Memorial Park with friends serving as pallbearers.
