Funeral service for Alma Jean Childers Lambert, 92, will be Friday, January 24, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Eva Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Robinson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Lawrence Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, January 24, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Eva Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lambert died on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at River City Center. She was born September 19, 1927, in Morgan County to Jessie Sisk and Buela Mae Mattney Sisk. She was a member of the Eva Baptist Church and was employed by the Lurleen B. Wallace Center in the custodial department, prior to her retirement. Preceding her in death were two husbands: Isaac Vernon Childers and second husband: David L. Lambert, her parents and two brothers: Kay Sisk and Calvin Sisk and two sisters: Shirley Sisk Waddell and Wynell Taylor Wilson and a cousin: Jean Moore.
