Vester Clarence Lawrence, Jr., age 76 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020. He served in the United States Army Airborne division, was a member of Masonic Lodge #464 and attended the Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Friday, January 17, 2020 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. and burial will follow in Pleasant Hill No. 2 Cemetery.

Mr. Lawrence is survived by his daughters, Bre Lindsey and Kara Bell; brothers and sisters, Merel Rowe, Marilyn Lawrence, Jewell Miller, Paul Lawrence, Brenda Spence, Glenda Lawrence, Stanley Lawrence, Stacy Lawrence, Wilodean White, Vesta Beaty and Maxine Godsey; grandchildren, Logan & Abbie Lindsey and Aubree Bell; and a host of nieces, nephews and too many friends to count, and a very dear friend Janice Woods.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vester Clarence Lawrence, Sr. and Eva Mae Lawrence; brothers and sisters, Rebecca Hogeland, Alice Blakenship, Buddy Lawrence, Steven Lawrence, Doris Lawrence, Christine Turner; nephews Michael and Rodney; niece, Tina; nephew John Paul Keller.
