Mrs. Baker passed away Wednesday, December 4th, 2019 at her residence. She was born February 18, 1928 to Oscar Douglas and Mary Belle White Sexton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Shannon Baker, Michael Carter; daughter, Freddie Gibson; sister, Wanda Jeffers.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Ottis Baker; son, Jeffery Baker; daughters, Katrina (Ruel) Phillips, Shelley (Robert) Kaufman, Jody Baker; brothers, Fred (Sue) Sexton, Jimmy Sexton, David (Rita) Sexton; sister, Myrna Baker; grandchildren, Ferah (Grant) Tatum, Monica (Steve) Thomas, Andrea Phillips, Jennifer Kaufman, Matthew (Rachel) Kaufman, Rachael Kaufman, Melody Kaufman, Jon (Kimi) Johnson, Chris Gibson, Tracy (Rick) Ring, Jackie (Brent) Brandal, Chasa (John) Fulkerson, Zachary Parvin; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; numerous family and friends and a large church family.
