Albertville Funeral Home Downtown announces the death of Arvil Otinger, 88, of Horton, AL, who passed away Sunday December 1, 2019 at Marshall Medical Center South. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Albertville Funeral Home Downtown Chapel with burial to follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Bill Scott and Larry Gunter will officiate. Pallbearers will be Anthony Lumpkin, Allen Copeland, Scotty Winfrey, Don Otinger, Gerald Cook, Joey Ledbetter. Honorary Pallbearers will be Josh Scott, Zander Otinger, Bentley Smith, Chad Otinger, Stephen Otinger, Eric Smart. The family will visit with friends Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Albertville Funeral Home Downtown Chapel. Preceded in death by his mother, Christine Knight Otinger, father, Ira Oscar Otinger, 2 sisters, 7 brothers. He is survived by his wife, Linda Otinger, sister, Carolyn (Wendell) Cook, children, Rickey & Janice Otinger, Mike & Tammy Otinger, Cynthia & Victor Gonzalez, Shane & Angie Otinger, grandchildren, Chad & Abbey Otinger, Stephen Otinger, Anthony Lumpkin, Haleigh Otinger, Josh Scott, Whitney & Dylan Pittman, Savannah Otinger & special friend Steven Tondee, Zach & Kassie West, Zander Otinger, great grandchildren, Bentley Smith, Stella Pittman, Zach Otinger, Zain Otinger.
