LeAnn J. Brix, 80, died Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Crestwood Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life for LeAnn Brix will be held Saturday, November 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. at her home, 3229 Hampton Cove, AL 35763. Memorials may be made to The Care Center of New Hope Alabama 5039 Main Dr, New Hope, AL 35760.
LeAnn Paulson was born November 3, 1939, in Cleghorn, Iowa, to Leonard and Helga Paulson. She graduated from River Dale High School. LeAnn worked as a keypunch operator for Case-IH Company in East-Moline. March 16, of 1963 she married Christian L. Brix. Later she was a real-estate agent. And finally she opened a restaurant and catering business, The Moveable Feast. She was a member of Cove Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Nick Detert of Columbia, MO.; son Rob Templeton of Moline, IL.; son and daughter-in-law, William and Marie Brix of Huntsville AL; grandson Teddy Templeton; granddaughters Sophia Brix and Samantha Brix; and brother Donald Paulson; and special friends Mike Funderberg, Eve Hollowell, Annette Niecamp and Debbie Zinser who helped mom through some difficult times.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law.
