Carlton Ray Walker, age 70, Boaz, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Marshall Medical Center South.
His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Chris Cornutt, Rev. Wayne White and Rev. Shannon Pullen will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Gary Howard, Roger Harper, Austin Harper, Bradley Hayes, Greg Roberson, and Kevin Roberson. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Sewell and Ray Roberson.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 5 until 8 and Saturday afternoon from 1 until 8 at his home, 3523 Lawson Gap Road, Boaz, Alabama 35956.
Mr. Walker is survived by his daughter, Whitney Walker (Blake Dobbins), son, Matthew Blackmon (Kelly), grandchildren, Benjamin, Jace and Claire, and sister, Juanise Lasseter (Kenneth).
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Walker, parents, Carl and Estelle Walker, sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Theodore Harper.
