Doris Sundback, 93, of Decatur, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, November 10, 2019. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 11 AM at First Presbyterian Church, 701 Oak St. NE Decatur, AL. 35601. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church parlor. The family will have a private burial. Mrs. Sundback was an active member of First Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. She was a deacon and elder; she also held offices in the Presbyterian Women. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ray Sundback. Survivors include her children, Karen Sundback (John Owens) of Knoxville, TN, Ellen Marks (Joe) of Huntsville, AL and John Sundback (Jim Crane) of Wilton Manors, FL.; grandson, Hank Marks (Shannon) of Birmingham, AL.; great-grandsons, Joseph Henry Marks III and John William Sundback Marks. The family requests no flowers.
