On Sunday, October 27, 2019, Joseph Michael Graham, Sr., age 41, passed away at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville, AL, after a long battle with cancer.
Joey was born in Atlanta, GA and he lived a majority of his life in Scottsboro, AL. Joey is a graduate of Scottsboro High School where he was a member of the band and went on to march in the Million Dollar Band at the University of Alabama. With Boy Scouts of America Troop 444, he obtained the Rank of the Eagle Scout and was a member of the Order of the Arrow. Joey was a Master Mason at Scottsboro Lodge 359.
On July 17, 2004, Joey married Katherine Crona. Together they raised three children: Joseph, Jr., Thomas, and Lucy Kate. Joey is survived by his parents, John and Jackie Graham; sister, Jennifer Gossett; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Joey enjoyed music, hiking, camping, Alabama Football, and drives through the countryside. He was known for his accepting personality, quick sense of humor, and strong leadership skills. He was an amazing husband, father, son, and brother. His smile and eyes would brighten any room he entered.
A memorial service will be held at Broad Street Church of Christ on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Family Care in Huntsville, AL: https://hhcaringforlife.org.
