Funeral Service for Harold “Harry” Julian Grimes, age 76, of Baileyton, will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 2, 2019, at Welcome Baptist Church with Jeremy Calloway officiating. He will lie-in-state from 1:00-2:00 p.m. preceding the service. Interment will be in Welcome Baptist Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Grimes passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019, at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville. He was born July 13, 1943, to James Henry Hoyt Grimes and Eunice Frances Brindley Grimes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Henry Hoyt Grimes and Eunice Frances Brindley Grimes; sister, Dorothy Grimes Lytle; and brother, Clarence “Stan” Stanfield.
Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Shirley Grimes; daughters, Julie Grimes, Jackie (Anthony) Garlowich, and Jamie (Richard) Fallin; grandchildren, Isabelle Garlowich, Isaac Garlowich, Sadie Fallin, and Nora Fallin; and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 1, 2019, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
