John Paul Elliott, 59 of Dora, passed away Friday August 30, 2019 at his residence.
He was employed with Black Diamond Paving Co. and was an avid Alabama football fan.
Funeral services will be Tuesday September 3, 2019 at 12:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Roger Abernathy will officiate. Burial will follow in McCormack Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Lena Elliott, Sr. and his sister, Sandra Elliott.
Survivors include his sisters, Mary Coggins (Howard), Linda Cairns, Sara Bell (David) and Angela Brewbaker (Paul); brothers, Leon Elliott, Jr and Brian Elliott; aunt, Maxine Elliott; several other family members and many friends.
