Aubrey “Jerome” Smith of Hanceville, Alabama passed away Sunday, August 25 at the age of 84. He was born January 29, 1935 to Aubrey and Mabel Johnson Smith. His parents precede him in death along with one son, Craig Smith. Mr. Smith leaves to cherish his memory his wife: Glenda Wisener Smith; daughters: Sherry (Wayne) Nall and Kimberley (Mark) Underwood; sons: Jeff (Anita) Smith, Christopher (Jennifer) Hunter and Jeffrey (Teresa) Hunter; daughter-in-law: Karen Smith; Grandchildren: Chris (Leeanna) Smith, Corey Smith, Ashley (Adam) Livingston, Joshua Hunter, Lindsey (Joel) Martin, Brodie Hunter, Monica (Kenny) Watts, Cody Hunter, Gabby Hunter, Brandon (Mary Quince) Norris, Kameika (Tyler) Caldwell, Gage Smith; great grandchildren: Madison Smith, Grayson Smith, Rowan Smith, Lakely Livingston, Landen Livingston, Linley Livingston, Livie Livingston, Ava Eskew, Adley Eskew, Oliver Martin, Colton Hunter, Riley Watts, Paisley Caldwell, Scotlyn Norris. There will be a visitation for Jerome Smith Tuesday, August 27, at Moss Service Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A celebration of Mr. Smith’s life will be Wednesday at 10:00 am with a lie in state from 9 – 10 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church.
