Mr. Phillip Maurice Daye, Sr., age 79, of Scottsboro, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Gamble officiating. Interment will follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Pallbearers will be The Outcasters Bass Club, Raymond Brandon, Dale Delay, Mike Paris, Paul Smart, Son, Phillip Daye, Jr. and Grandson, Brandon Daye.
Mr. Daye is survived by his wife, Margaret (Utterback) Daye of Scottsboro, AL; son, Phillip M. Daye, Jr. of Ardmore, AL; daughters, Gail (Daye) Morgan of Scottsboro, AL and Rita (Daye) Holliday of Huntsville, AL; step daughter, Jennifer (Adams) Sharp of Mt. Gilead, OH; brother, Larry Daye of Elkmont, AL; brothers in law, Kenneth Utterback of Loudonville, OH, John Utterback of Salina, KS, Stanley Carnegie of Meridianville, AL, and Stanley Hoff of Loudonville, OH; sisters, Carolyn (Pat) Ryan of Washington, IN, Debbie Daye of Washington, IN, and Margie (Adam) Yanhko of Huntsville, AL; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce Daye and Rose (Daye) Tate and daughters, Rose Janette Daye Hutton and Mary Annette Daye Dye
