June P. Moore of Huntsville died June 3, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, husband, Sam R. Moore, and son, Sam R. Moore, Jr.
Survivors include sisters, Sara P. Kane and Brenda P. McCall (Willie Ray); sister-in-law, Linda B. Platt; daughters, Patricia Adams (Bennett) and Evelyn Young (Kurt); sons, Richard Moore (Karen) and Doug Moore (Lisa); daughter-in-law, Amy Moore; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, June 7, in the chapel of First Baptist Church, with the memorial service immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home, PO Box 361767, Birmingham, AL 35236, or the Huntsville First Baptist Church library.
