Mrs. Mamie Christine Coleman, age 79 of Athens, AL passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Coleman was born on January 9, 1940 in Alabama to John Lewis Hall and Ettice Patterson Hall.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George “Tommy” Coleman and son, Darryl Coleman.
Mrs. Coleman is survived by her daughter, Renee Sampson (Daniel); sons, Jeff Coleman (Marcheita), Brian Coleman and Kevin Coleman (Rachel); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Services for Mrs. Coleman will be at 11:00AM on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Caleb Gooch and Luther Dugger officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:45AM prior to the service. Burial will be in Lentzville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Trenton Sampson, Trey Sampson, Justin Patterson, Andrew Holtbrooks, Mark McLemore and Camillo Valladarez. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Garland, David Collier, Paul Ramsey, Jamie Davis and Glenn Ramsey.
