Martha Carol Reeves, age 73, of Albertville, Alabama passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019.
Martha is survived by her one brother, Aros B. and Pat Reeves of Geraldine, Al., one sister, Delia Marie and Ray Culpepper of Hiram, Ga., five nephews, one niece, two great-nephews and one great niece.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, George A. and Vesta Hayes Reeves of Horton, Al., a sister, Fannie Reeves Green of Boaz, Al.
Martha loved to sew, work puzzles, and watch old westerns and mysteries. Gunsmoke and Murder She Wrote were two of her favorites. Most of all she loved her family. She really enjoyed Sundays with her aunt, Ruth Hayes. She also enjoyed two great nephews, age 4 and 2 ½ and they enjoyed their Aunt Martha as well.
Martha was brought up in Bethany Baptist Church and gave her life to Christ as a young teenager. She continued attending Bethany.
Martha, you are in a better world but you sure left a big hole in our world. We love you.
Her funeral service will be Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:30 until 2 before the service. Rev. James Ledwell and Rev. Edward Moore will officiate. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Shane Green, Stephen Green, Jonathan Culpepper, Edward Moore, Neal Glassco and Ivan Romero.
