Jessie Terry – Obituary

Jessie Terry was born in the Hamburg community in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 30, 1946, the son of the late Jessie (Bud) and Lena Terry. On April 13, 1974, he was united in marriage to Susan Moser, who survives. Jessie departed this life on May 16, 2019, at the age of 72 years, 5 months, and 16 days.

In his lifetime, Jessie worked for P. Moser Roofing and Siding. Jessie enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, being outdoors, gardening, and playing cards, especially Rook.

In addition to his wife, Susan, of 45 years, Jessie is survived by his sons, Jason James Terry of Michie, Tennessee and Christopher Paul Terry and wife Jennifer of Mooreville, Mississippi; sisters, Amy Brown of Chicago, Illinois, Clara Jones of Savannah, Tennessee, and Audrey Cornelius of Savannah, Tennessee; and granddaughters, Jenna Jade Terry, Alivya Rain Terry, and Whitley Rose Terry.

Along with his parents, Jessie was preceded in death by his brothers, James (Red) Terry, Ocie Terry, Jimmy Terry, and Buddy Terry; and sisters, Lillian Wardlow, Jane Buckles, Onida Warlow, Betty Jo Seaton, and Naomi Jean Ellis.
