Robert Edward Cramer, Sr., 91, of Huntsville, passed away Friday. He was born in Huntsville to Carl Phillip (Charlie) and Norma Eaton Cramer and was the middle of three sons. He began his career at Capitol Airlines in Huntsville; moved to Redstone Arsenal as manager of government travel and then opened Cramer Travel Agency in 1960. He retired in 2000.
He is survived by his childhood sweetheart and devoted wife of seventy three years, Mazzie Steele Cramer; three children, Robert “Bud” Cramer, Jr., Sandra Cramer Page (Gary), and Steven Kelly Cramer; four grandchildren, Hollan Cramer Campbell (Phillip), Josiah David Page (Bekky), Ellie Page Ingle (Josh), and Zachary Cramer Page (Kristin); and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday at Mayfair Church of Christ. The funeral service will immediately follow with Dr. Gary Bradley officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
