Mr. Price was born February 14, 1937 to the late Charlie and Evelyn Price and had one sister, the late Linnie Lumley of Cocoa, Florida.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 60 years, Frances Henson Price, who he married on May 5, 1958. He is survived by five children; Terreea “Terri” Lynn Telkamp of Alaska, Pleazy Calvin “Chuck” Price of Colorado, Malinda “Lindy” Pearl Price of Washington D.C, Frances “Franny” Evelyn Price of Mississippi, and Charlene “Charlie” Carol Payne of Virginia; eight grandchildren, Mike Adams, Brian Adams, Charles Price, Cody Price, Shawn Duffy, Amanda Adank, Derek Gable & Alicia Payne; and eight great grandchildren, Daily Adams, Zachary Adams, Loretta Adams, Alexis Price, Kinslee Price, Michael Duffy, Isaiah Duffy, Madison Adank; and many other family and friends around the world.

Chuck served in the military–first the Army and then the Air Force with honor, pride and commitment. On July 4, 1968 Chuch and Fran entered Alaska where he became a civilian fireman and paramedic and was credited with countless rescues during those 7 years. Not being one to sit idle, Chuck and Fran also built many businesses; a hunting lodge, a general store, a trading post and a camp ground. They enjoyed the Alaska country and raised their five children under God’s supervision and help. After over 50 years, Chuck and Fran moved back to Fran’s home state of Alabama in September 2018. Although Chuck’s origins are in Florida, he married an Alabama girl and finally followed her home.

Chuck lost the battle with bone cancer and has gone to be with Jesus, pain free! He loved life and being needed or helpful. He strived to be a good husband, father and Christian. He loved his God, family and country. His pride was so strong with his children all of which graduated high school and went on to many greater accomplishments.

He did not wait to accomplish his “bucket list” – he lived his adventures throughout his life. Traveling was his weakness, if he had one. To see beyond the next mountain, river or curve was his desire.

He liked to fix things; make things better, safer or easier for those who needed him. We believe he completed his bucket-list and more. Wherever he lived, he made good friends who were never ready for him to leave when he moved on.

James Henson and Ray Mauldin (his brothers-in-law) were very dear to him.

Two of his favorite songs were, “The Old Rugged Cross” and “It is Well with My Soul”.
