Mrs. Frances L. Potter, age 76, of Scottsboro, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Settles, and Rev. Jeff Daily officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Potter is survived by her husband, Glenn Potter; Daughters, Denise Foley, Kim (Marty) Goolesby, and Sherry Potter; Sons, Rod (Sue) Kirstein, and Jeff (Pam) Kirstein; grandchildren; Chasity Goolesby, Jay Goolesby, Stacy Clarke, Amanda Hammon, Darrell Mays, Danielle Meeks, Ryan Kirstein, Haley Dicus, Brent Dicus; Several great grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews; sisters, Wanda McLain, and Sally (James) Seay; brother, Jim (Cathy) Snell.
She was preceded in death by her mom, Virginia Snell; stepdad, Elmo Snell; father, Frank Claiborne; brother, Frank “Bud” Claiborne.
