Mr. Zane Phillip Buckwalter, age 76, of Scottsboro, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. He was born on June 27, 1942 in Mt. Carroll, Illinois.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Bro. Jody Bell officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the memorial service.
Mr. Buckwalter is survived by his son, Barry Buckwalter; stepchildren, Vickie Huckabee, John Dickerson, Angenette Wwery, and Steven Talley; grandchildren, Karlee and Kaylee Buckwalter; host of step grandchildren; brothers, Larry (Carol) Buckwalter and Edward (Kathy) Buckwalter; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Nell Buckwalter; stepson, J.D. Townson; father, Donald Jacob Buckwalter; mother, Viola Vervina Hada; brother, Donald Buckwalter; sister, Phillis and Merlin Kress.
