Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m., Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the Round Island Creek Mission Center (13829 Lucas Ferry Road, Athens, AL 35611) with Pastor Robert L. Rice officiating. Interment will be in Thatch Mann Cemetery. Mrs. Scales will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time with Royal Funeral Home-Mason Chapel directing.
Public viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2019, and from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 28, 2019, at Royal Funeral Home-Mason Chapel in Athens, AL.
