Klaus Bauer, age 82, of Millport, AL, passed on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 2, 2019 at 10:00 A.M., from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Drew Moore to officiate.
Klaus was born June 25, 1936 in Leipzig Germany to the late Eric Bauer and the late Erna Exner, and has been in the United States since 1980. He was of the Lutheran Faith. He was retired from the Columbus Air Force Base and held a Bachelors Degree in Culinary Arts. He enjoyed gardening, doing yard work, and the outdoors. He was an avid outdoor sportsman who enjoyed golf, bowling and tennis. Klaus also had a love for soccer and was an all-star player.
