Latitia Ann Johns Vest, age 57 passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born October 15, 1961 in Gadsden, Alabama to James “Johnny” and Jo Ann Kendrick Johns.
Funeral service will be Friday, February 1, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Dalton Roberson officiating with burial in the Hartselle City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Latitia is survived by her parents, her husband, Tim who she married on May 26, 1979; a daughter, Libby Morse of Hartselle; a son, Lucas Vest (Amanda) of Decatur; grandson, Gavin Morse; sisters, Lasonja Pinkston and Laresa Johns.
Byron Ferguson, Keith Ferguson, Whit McCurley, Dylan Crow, Nathan Kimbrell and Thomas Kelso and Jesse Blackburn will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary Pallbearers will be J.D. Smith, Johnny Vest and Colt Beavers.
