Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Hooper is survived by his daughter, Demetra Taylor; grandchildren, Tiffany Clark, Brandon Clark, Brittany Clark, Timothy McDonald, and Michael Shawn Pierce; sisters, Betty Roller, Frances Robertson, Kathy Hooper, and Garlynn Wininger; brother, Michael Hooper; and special friend, Vicki Wilbourn.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dewana Fletcher; parents, Clyde and Willie B. Hooper; brothers, Tommy Hooper, C.A. Hooper, Jr., and Randy Hooper; and a sister, Carolyn Heavey.
