Michael Prescott, age 52 of Spring Hill, TN, died peacefully at home on January 22, 2019. He was a proud and humbled recipient of a donor heart in 2001 and likewise with the receipt of his brother’s kidney in 2005. He enjoyed hunting, playing golf, geocaching, being a part of his son’s Boy Scout troop and was an avid coin collector. Michael was an incredibly determined and hardworking individual who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Lee Prescott and his mother, Linda Anderson Prescott. He is survived by his loving wife, Emily Prescott; son, Carter Prescott; father, Jerry Prescott; brother, Donnie Prescott as well as other close family members. A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor Andy Hudelson officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Progeria Research Foundation.
