Ronny Lee Burke, Jr., 52, died at his home unexpectedly on January 1, 2019.  Born to Ronny Burke, Sr.  and Linda Rosser Burke in Fort Worth, TX. on May 7, l966, Ronny grew up in the Cabot, Arkansas area and attended public schools there.  He received vocational training at the Searcy Vocational-Technical Center, where he learned to be a mechanic.  He moved to the Tupelo area 30 years ago where he worked many years for Pepsi Cola Bottling Company.  At the time of his death, he was a self-employed master mechanic with great skills in his trade.  He was particularly fond of the late Sam Hubbert, for whom he did much work in his livestock and transport business.  Ronny loved the outdoors including fishing, paint ball and hunting.  He was a jovial but private personality who never met a stranger and was completely devoted to his only daughter, Shelby M. Burke.

A service celebrating his life will be held at 2 PM Monday, January 14, 2019 at the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro. Bobby Holland officiating.  His ashes will be scattered at a later date. Visitation will be from Noon-service time on Monday only at Holland-Tupelo Chapel, which is honored to be serving their friends.  The service may be viewed in real time at 2 PM Monday and for 60 days thereafter at www.hollandfuneraldirectors.com/Livestreaming.

Survivors include the love of his life, his 11 year old daughter, Shelby M. Burke (her mother, Dee Cayson of Tupelo); his mother, Linda Burke of Ward, Ark.; his father, Ronny Burke, Sr. (Brenda) of Gosnell, Ark.;  his sisters, Laine Buller (Mark) of Clarksville, TN. and Jennifer Hardesty of Savannah, GA. a brother, Chris Burke (Kym Phillips) of Benton, Ark. step sons, Justin Scroggins of Cherry Valley, Ark and Blake Scroggins of Waco, TX.  Numerous nephews, nieces and cousins and a host of friends.
