Mr. Thomas Edward Taylor, 91, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away at his home on Monday, December 24, 2018. A native of Franklin County, Alabama, he was retired from Reynolds and also a farmer. A member of the local IBEW 558, he had lived in the area all his life and was a member of Shady Grove Church of Christ. He was an avid bluegrass music fan and a member of Lost Creek Bluegrass Band.
Visitation with family and friends will be today, December 28, 2018 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Verbon Vandiver and D.C. Chaney officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens, Russellville.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Brian Mitchell, Braden Mitchell, Bryson Mitchell, Dakota Taylor, and Neal Taylor.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Guyuna Taylor; children, Barney Taylor (Gene) and Gail Anderson (Jerry), all of Russellville; brother, Faris Taylor, of Muscle Shoals; grandchildren, Brandie (Brian) Mitchell, Chris (Kristy) Taylor, and Matthew Taylor; great-grandchildren, Braden and Bryson Mitchell, Dakota Taylor, Niles Hunt, Olivia Taylor, Michael Franklin, and Kesslie Cameron; and nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Riley and Dessie Smith Taylor.
