Shelby Jean Bates, 79, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away Monday, November 12, 2018. She was born on March 22, 1939 in Morgan County, Alabama to L. C. and Lois (Morgan) Dempsey.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, Alabama. Visitation will be at Spry Funeral Home Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at Victory Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 1:00pm with interment to follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
