Funeral services will be held on Monday October 15, 2018 at Scottsboro Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Chris Bell and Rev. Rick Vinson officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday October 14, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ronnie was born on December 7, 1978 in Chicago Heights, IL. To Don and Susan Milligan. At the age of 3, Ronnie moved with his family to Alabama where he grew up and met his beautiful wife, Leia Mears Milligan and together they have 5 wonderful children. Ronnie pursued a career in the transportation industry, as highly sought after diesel mechanic shop foreman.
Ronnie wore many hats, not only as a husband and father, but as a ball coach for his son’s ball teams, youth pastor for many years, changing and impacting many lives in his community. Ronnie was known for his infectious smile, his quick wit, contagious laugh, and his big ROLL TIDE!
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Leia Milligan; his children, Bryce, Tavian, Micah, and Ava Milligan and step son, Hunter Atchley; his parents, Don and Susan Milligan (Bean); sisters, Donna (Scottie) Reynolds and April (Bruce) Maples; nieces, Kaitlyn and Laura Beth; nephews, Jared and Anthony; special in laws, Brian and Rhonda Helton; sister in law, Jillian (Brad) Arnold.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesse and Mary (Moorehead) Bean and Melvin and Pearl (Croom) Milligan.
