Susan Elaine Defoor, 73, passed away on October 10, 2026 at her residence.Susan was born on February 5, 1956, to the late Charles and Marguerite Bloyd. She attended high school in Haleyville, Alabama, and later in life returned to nursing school at Northeast Mississippi Community College, earning her LPN license. Susan enjoyed reading, especially cherished reading the Bible. However, Susan enjoyed the most was spending time with her family and her childhood best friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gary Bloyd and Bruce Bloyd.
Susan is survived by her husband, Larry Wayne Defoor; daughters, Amy Selmon and Amber Fuller (Trae); grandchildren, Malachi Selmon (Bella), Isaiah Selmon, Elsie Dilworth, Caden Park (Larissa), Ethan Park, Madison Fuller, and Mason Fuller; great grandchildren, Shiloh Selmon, Selah Selmon, and Sage Selmon; brother, Keith Bloyd. and her longtime childhood friends.
