Mr. C. Lloyd Grigsby, age 90, of Crow Mountain, formerly of Florence, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018. Mr. Grigsby was a resident of Crow Mountain for 40 years, attended Skyline Church of Christ, and was an operating engineer with Local 320 with TVA before his retirement.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Nesbitt Sanford officiating. Pallbearers will be Scott Traglia, Abraham Martindale, Jonathan McGregor, Russell Grigsby, Justin McGregor, and Samuel Robinson. Interment will follow at Austell Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 5 p.m. untill 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Grigsby is survived by his wife, Anita Grigsby; children, Shirley Martindale, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Dennis Grigsby, of Mexia, Texas, Vicki McGregor, of Benton, Kentucky, and Todd Robinson, of Franklin, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jeremy Scott Traglia, of Ocala, Florida, Abraham Martindale, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Russell Grigsby, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Kay Willger, of Baraboo, Wisconsin, Jonathan and Justin McGregor, both of Benton, Kentucky, and Samuel Robinson, of Franklin, Tennessee; great-grandchildren, Ariel Traglia, Isaiah and Amelia Martindale, Ellanor and Isabell Grigsby, Jacob, Kaleigh, Kiaria Willger, and Charley, Brooks, Brody, and Anny McGregor; and great- great-grandchildren, Silver Lujano.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Laurie Robinson; parents, Clarence Leonard and Verlie Grigsby; and a sister, Joyce Murphy.
