Granville Wayne Balentine age 66, of Rogersville, AL passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Athens-Limestone Hospital. Mr. Balentine was born February 4, 1952 in Lauderdale County to Odell Balentine and Christine Brown Balentine.
Services will be Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Jerry Clark officiating and a time of sharing by Jimmy Clark and Tony Clark. Visitation will be Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 12:00 until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Carolyn Balentine of Rogersville; Daughter, Angela Warf and husband John of Enterprise; son, Christopher Balentine of Athens; nephew, Richard Balentine of Florence; niece, Debra Guarducci and husband Ronnie of Morris, IL; grandchildren, Zach, Kaitlyn, Briley, Michael, Brooklyn, Caeden, Autumn and Amelia.
Mr. Balentine was of the Baptist Faith. He was a loving father and grandfather. He loved his wife, his family, his dog LuLu and his job. His favorite things to do were playing music and fishing.
