Joyce “Joy” Dykes, 83 of Florence went to be with her Lord on June 19, 2018. Visitation will be Sunday, June 24, from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at Grace Bible Church of the Shoals. The funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the church with Brother Keith Pope officiating.
Joy was a wonderful mother, grandmother and a talented singer and artist but more than anything she loved her church, Grace Bible Church of the Shoals. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles and her son, Jimmy.
Joy is survived by a daughter, Belinda “Bo” Hunter (Ray) and three grandchildren, Joshua Hunter, Jeremiah Dykes, and Michelle Harbaugh, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
